A small copper and sandalwood tool shaped for the eye area, where a full-size gua sha tool is too broad.

A small gua sha tool made for the eye area, in copper and sandalwood. Shaped to follow the one part of the face where a full-size tool is simply too broad.

Why the eye area needs its own tool

The skin around the eyes is thinner than anywhere else on the face, and a standard gua sha tool can't follow the curve of the orbital bone without straying onto the eyelid. This one is sized to sit in that curve, so you can work slowly and stay where you mean to.

Pressure should be barely there. The weight of the tool is close to enough.

Copper and sandalwood

Copper conducts heat quickly, which means it stays cool against the skin rather than warming up as you work. It's the reason it turns up so often in tools made for the eye area.

Sandalwood does the opposite in your hand — it warms as you hold it, and keeps a faint trace of the wood over time. Between them you get a tool that's cool where it touches your face and warm where you grip it.

Made with

Copper and sandalwood

Best for

Slow, gentle massage around the eyes — at the end of an evening skincare routine, or after a long day at a screen.

Best used over an eye oil or serum, on the orbital bone only.

How to

Apply an eye oil or serum to clean skin first. The tool should glide, never drag.

Hold it lightly and work along the orbital bone — the ridge you can feel beneath the eye socket. Two or three strokes outward from the inner corner toward the temple, then the same along the brow bone above.

Use the lightest pressure you can manage. Never work on the eyelid itself.

Notes

For external use around the eyes only. Never use on the eyelid, on broken skin, on a stye, or on any eye irritation or infection. Don't use over recent cosmetic procedures without checking first, and stop if anything feels uncomfortable.

Clean with warm water and a little mild soap after each use and dry thoroughly — don't soak the sandalwood. Keep out of reach of children.
